WINDOWS TO LOOK IN is a project by artist Lorenzo Senni, one of the winners of the 12th edition of Italian Council (2023), the prestigious international program of the Directorate General for Contemporary Creativity of the Ministry of Cultural Heritage that promotes Italian art in the world.
After premiering at Fundação de Serralves in Porto and MUNCH in Oslo, WINDOWS TO LOOK IN will be shown at the Bourse de Commerce in Paris along with a lecture and concert by Lorenzo Senni on June 6.
Lorenzo Senni offers the Bourse de Commerce to trace the creation of his work through audio and written documents and a documentary by Australian filmmaker Courtney Herrenberg. The film shows in particular Lorenzo Senni’s decisive encounter with American photographer John Divola, whose series of photographs Dead Mirrors (1970) was an important source of inspiration for WINDOWS TO LOOK IN.
